Traditionally, inspections of concrete dams and similar structures have primarily relied on visual inspections by divers. However, due to a shortage of personnel, there is a growing demand for labor-saving solutions utilizing robotic technology. Since 2016, Sekido has been selling underwater drones and ROVs, and not only do we sell them, but we also conduct demonstration experiments and customize them according to customer requests, enabling various operations using underwater drones and ROVs. This time, we successfully achieved 3D modeling by analyzing captured images (video) with "Pix4Dmapper."
